CPR First Aid/AED

Our American Red Cross–certified CPR/First Aid/AED course equips students with the skills to recognize emergencies, provide immediate lifesaving care, and respond confidently until EMS arrives. Training includes adult, child, and infant CPR, choking response, AED operation, and essential first‑aid techniques for bleeding, burns, shock, sudden illness, and injuries. This nationally recognized certification is valid for two years and meets workplace and OSHA compliance standards.

CPR & AED Component

Focuses on cardiac and breathing emergencies.

Precautions when using an AED (water, metal surfaces, implanted devices, etc.)

Recognizing cardiac emergencies and early warning signs

Cardiac Chain of Survival and why early CPR/AED use matters

High‑quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

Choking response for conscious and unconscious victims

AED operation: pads placement, safety checks, shock delivery

First Aid Component

Covers the most common sudden illnesses and injuries.

When and how to move an injured person safely

Scene safety and how to prioritize care

Good Samaritan laws and consent

Bleeding control and wound management

Burns, cuts, scrapes

Shock recognition and care

Heat‑ and cold‑related emergencies

Head, neck, and spinal injuries

Musculoskeletal injuries (sprains, fractures, dislocations)

Sudden illnesses such as diabetic emergencies, stroke, seizures, allergic reactions

Adult & Pediatric Coverage

The course trains students to respond to emergencies involving:

  • Adults (12+ years)
  • Children
  • Infants

This includes age‑specific CPR techniques, choking protocols, and assessment differences.
